Welcome to the Complete Tune-Up Workshop!

Duration: 14 hours, Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch break

Location: 4136 Wellington Street, Verdun

In this course, participants will learn to:

• Undertake a general cleaning of the frame and wheels
• Measure wear of differents components
• Clean and lubricate a ball bearing hub as well as sealed bearings
• Removing, cleaning and installing a bottom bracket
• Cleaning and greasing a headset
• Align a wheel and verify spoke tension
• Adjust mechanical and electronic gears
• Adjust disc and rim brakes
• Maintain a clean and efficient transmission

Level: All levels are welcome!

Number of participants: 6

Participants will work on their own bicycles. However, if the mechanic in charge determines that a bicycle is not suitable for the course without slowing down the group, a bicycle will be provided for the duration of the course.

Troubleshooting Part 1 and 2 are not prerequisite for taking the 2-day class. However, if you feel unconfortable with a lot of mechanical concepts, it is to warm your knowledge with those troubleshooting class for a better understanding and a more comprehensive learning experience.
